It's a girl.......and a girl....we have a referral

Hello everyone,

Well...step 4 of about 15 is done....We got a referral for 2 girls aged 6 and 3 today at the adoption headquarters. The paperwork and dossier on them indicates they are in good health. we will have to wait and see once we meet them in a few dyas. We will have to travel to the Yalta peninsula, down by the Black Sea...yeah, u might have to check your geprgraphy and get a map.. The appointment went very well. SDA people were very kind, helpful, but they have limited information on the girls. We will find out more once we see documentation at the orphanage.
Lisa sent out some mass emails from her yahoo account. It is easier to email her than Matt's AOL address. We received all the posts on the Blog here so now we have 2 ways to get and send info.

We wish everyone well and keep sending us your good vibes. There is a bit of good karma attached to the 2 girls...more to follow on this.

To all mys students and Mr. B......hope u guys are doing the right thing and taking care of business while I'm gone. I will ask Mr. B to send me updates on all you guys, especially the "chuckleheads". I may be 8,000 miles away, but you know I can lay a good whooping via Internet. LOL LOL LOL. I do miss all of you. I googled numa numa on the Russian Internet...they might have aguy that can beat the saddlebrook kid!!!!

Wish us well ,post a message and send some really good vibes our way.

Love to all,

Matt and Lisa

What great news!!!!

2 girls!! How wonderful. (We are sure you can find a shotgun cheap in the Ukraine (lol.)) We are also sure the next few days will just fly by. Enjoy them if you can as your lives will be changed forever. It is probably a good thing that you have brought your "videographer" along to capture everything on film - a film that we can't wait to see.

Safe Travels!!!

Yalta!?! How exciting! My daughter lived in the Yalta orphanage for two years. The orphange doctor was a dream to work with, and the caregivers we met truly cared about the children. I'd love to visit there again some day (with my daughter at my side so show them how well she's doing). -Robin Chance, Minnesota

Good vibes are coming your way directly from the Jungle Room. Matt, if you call again you need to remember Heights time man. We're a good 7 minutes behind the rest of the world. Can't wait to hear more about the girls. Love to you both.

Matt and Lisa,

Following your travel and it sounds like it is moving along. Keep this story in mind as you bring the two girls home(we know it will happen!!!) Ariana blamed us for ruining her life tonite. She could not go to a sleepover or spend the whole day at the willowbrook mall by herself with her littel 12 year old friends. First or many things that wil ruin her life. Deal with it we say

Congrats on the 2 girls, Mr. Sicilian (& Mrs. Sicilian)! Good luck, too! Haha. Yeah, I don't think you will find anyone who can beat Boris' Numa Numa dance... or Lee's. You missed our Numa Numa Faceoff! I'll show it to you when you get back. =) Mr. B's a lot of fun. Don't worry about period 4, we're behaving. Well, have fun in Ukraine! -Gillian
